The Northwest Georgia Joint Development Authority is a regional economic-development partnership serving Catoosa, Chattooga, Dade and Walker counties. Our purpose is simple: to help companies understand why relocating or expanding to the “Top of Georgia” makes good business sense — and to grow jobs, investment and opportunity for the communities we serve.
Alongside the publicly supported Authority, the nonprofit Top of Georgia initiative serves as our marketing arm, enabling the private sector to make tax-deductible contributions that strengthen regional recruitment.
What we do
The Top of Georgia initiative contracts with the Joint Development Authority to deliver:
- Print marketing materials that showcase the region
- Advertising targeting site selectors and industry executives
- Conference sponsorships and networking events
- Trade-show attendance and direct business-recruitment outreach
