The Top of Georgia initiative
Much of our advocacy is powered by Top of Georgia, the nonprofit fundraising device that enables the private sector to make tax-deductible charitable contributions in support of regional marketing.
Through this initiative, the Authority:
- Advances a unified brand and message for the four-county region
- Represents member communities at trade shows and industry conferences
- Advocates for the infrastructure, workforce and incentive programs that keep the region competitive
- Connects prospective employers with the local, state and utility partners who can move a project forward
By aligning public and private resources behind a common goal, our advocacy helps Northwest Georgia punch well above its weight in a competitive economic-development landscape.
